Dear Lord,

       I pray for your strength today, for my kids, and family. Things have been tough, but in You, I know everything will work out. With our busy schedules, school, work, finances, Lord sometimes it is too easy to lose focus and get frustrated. I pray Lord, that in the hustle and bustle of life, that we keep in mind what is important, and that is You. Help me to be a positive example in my kids lives Lord. Proverbs 20:7 says’ “The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.”  I pray to be that righteous father Lord, my children have so many of the worldly things against them, help me to show them by example that living not of this world, but by the Word is what will bring true happiness, and peace. Thank you for all You do. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Dear Heavenly Father,

        I thank you for the blessings you give us each day. I pray for your guidance Lord, so that I may be a leader for my family. Isaiah 58:11 says,” The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs..” Lord, you have satisfied every need. Though some days are harder than others, and that old nature sometimes grabs hold, I come to you in prayer for the peace that only You can provide. Lord, I thank you for my wife, and the strength you provide in her everyday life. Her words of encouragement, and faith that You will take care of us, is a blessed reminder of how great our life has become, and will continue to be , in our growth in You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Praying for Testing

Dear God,
Thank you my daughter has the privilege of attending school and that she has the ability to learn.  Please bless her experience today with the ACT test.  Be with all students and bless their testing!

Prayer for the Blog

Dear God,

Thank you for the medium of this blog to share and find prayers. Thank you for our families. As it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, we are to “Pray without ceasing,” so we open this conversation with you Lord. As parents, spouses, and families, we pray together and with our children and know that you are with us, Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three come together in my name." Thank you for being with us and loving us and knowing what is best for us and for our children. We praise you God for the blessing of family and the blessing of talking with you through prayer. May this blog bring us closer to you, closer to our families, and closer to each other. Please bless everyone who reads, contributes, and shares these prayers. May all be according to your will and bring you glory.
